Is going to be announced this wed. I'm super excited, even though I feel like they're going to make some mistakes. The big 3 for me are Crosby, Staal and Spezza should all be on the team, and I doubt all 3 will be. Bertuzzi shouldn't be there, hell maybe even St Louis shouldn't be there. I know they'll pick Ryan Smyth cause he's "Captain Canada" and all that, but he's not as talented as some of these younger guys. Also I bet they leave Cujo off the team, which is sad because he really has played very well for a franchise that is not that strong, while Theodore and Belfour have not played well for franchises that are stronger.


Who do you think should be there, who should not?

Smyth is a leadership gritty guy who is amazing down low. Perfect guy to put on the ice after you've just let up a goal. And he's not doing too bad this year

That's bullshit. Goaltending SHOULD be the least of our worries, Brodeur starting and Cujo and Luongo backing up. Brodeur's the obvious choice, Cujo's had previous big time experience and Luongo's the new blood. At least till Fleury's ready for that type of stuff. I don't know about Crosby making the team, though it would make sense. Spezza and Staal definately should. With the way they've been playing they should be definates.

With Magic Mario out of the picture, and Brodeur having a shitty season, things aren't looking as great for team Canada - not to mention, that aside from Scott Niedeimeir or wtfever, our first choice defencemen aren't playing so well this season. Iginla needs to pick it up as well.

I think Heatly+Spezza should both be on there, same line. The chemistry these two have is phenominal, and should be rewarded. They're pulling crazy shit outta nowhere like its going outta style.

Oh btw (Leafs suck) 8-2 mutha fackaS! haha 4-0 leafs, 4-0. Last 2 games, 16-2 total, rofl. Beat us in playoffs? How bout ya try to keep us below 5 goals in the regular season before talking smack about the playoffs bitches :fear:

In T.O.s defence, they have an injury list longer than nicknames dick (I've heard good things) and I think McCabe deserves a shot at Team Canada, he's holding the leafs together atm, and we need that defensive/offensive he's got going - he scored the 2 goals vs Ottawa last game.

To be fair, Brodeur's shitty season is in part due to New Jersey being a fucking mess. He's proven himself before and if he fucks up there'll be a competent back up behind him. I agree with Heatley n Spezza being on the same line.

Canada had a hard choice here, with canada having every good player ( ^-^ ) so many good dudes will be left out. Crosby, if he does make it, will be there for publicity. Like, there are far better players then crosby, sure hes damn good for being 18, but he aint Olympic good. niCe try. I just want Heatly and Lecavlier to show up. Brodeur and Luongo are having bad seasons, but expect them to make it, maybe turco as well. I hope Shanahan will make it too. And to summarize this terribly written piece, Lemieux shouldnt go.
