Holy shit... best movie of the year, hands down. Absolutely nothing beats it. Instant classic, and even better than the first movie. WOW.

Im a dork and I saw it at 11:59 pm the 17th. Yeah it was great. I'm just wating for some fucking asshole to compare it to the book and say "the book was better"

i like the way the movie brings the book to life. Sometimes when books get turned into a movie it totally blows cause u had a different image of the story in ur head. But with LOTR it's like a fantasy come true. For that I think the casting was really GREAT!!! I really coudnt have imagined it better myself! lets face it. Peter Jackson really slapped the shit down and made a great movie outof these great books.

I thought axing Tom Bombadil was a huge mistake in terms of vision, but I think probably for the best if he wanted the movie to sell.
