Yes indeed its a question that should provoke thought and make us try to better ourselves.
What Would the Forest Service Do?
See confronted with a problem like
in the forest a fence now posses a risk to the small heard of deer that have been there for over 30 years, what do we do about it?
off hand I'd go, hmm fix the fence so its safe to them?
But i'd be way wrong. I wasn't WWFSDing
The answer is to kill all the deer so they don't hurt themselves on the fence. Obvious when you hear it.
Off course killing a herd of deer witch numbers about 7 !!! is no easy task , so no surprise when they missed a foal that is now traumatised because it is now alone since its entire herd was culled.
