am I the only one who don't like Family Guy at all? Personally I find its level of amusement near zero :/

that, and south park grew old 5 years ago. Or something.

Family Guy is a repetitive ripoff of The Simpsons. They go all-out for the "wow this is social commentary" laughs as opposed to The Simpsons's subtlety. Plus Homer is way better than Peter. And I have yet to find a reason for everyone's continued amusement with Stewie (that is, except for young children who think him talking about butts and poops is funny).

Rome was good, but the time of broadcasting was horrible over here so I am just waiting for the dvd to come out here..

Tho, detail wise, it wasn't really that accurate, like clothles being worn, the walls, statues, etc.. weren't all that accurate, their was a piece about it in my tv guide. But that is detail wise, story wise and over it is very accurate.

Family Guy is overrated ... that other show ... American Dad or American Hero was funnier (same creator i think?). Cartoons are just not as good as they used to be (or maybe I'm just old?).

Are you serious? I tried to watch that American Dad one time, it was downright idiotic.

Sopranos kicked ass last night... first great episode of the season. I was starting to worry, but they're back in full force.

I have heard a lot of complaints, but I think this is the best season of The Sopranos ever---which is saying a lot.

There are just so many metaphors and symbolism throughout the show. And I loved all the metaphysical/existential shit they have been throwing in there. It's incredibly fresh and original without resorting to "jumping the shark".

Maybe it's me but I rarely watch TV and when I do it's either something I know I'll hate (like the O'Reilly Factor or Lingo) or a movie but I watched an episode recently of The Sopranos and understood very little of why it's good. That's probably because I just understood very little of it period because I've never seen one before so I don't know any of the characters. The one I saw was where Tony I guess was stuck at a hotel because he didn't have his wallet with credit card and shit and then it kept jumping back and forth between that and some dude dying in the hospital. Dunno, didn't understand but maybe I'll give it another whirl.

Yea, that was the 2nd episode. Yea, I tend not to watch shows when I miss the first few episodes, or seasons. For me, that happened with Alias and Lost---two awesome shows, but I never watch them, because I know I would be too confused to enjoy it.

In the first episode, Tony got shot by his senile uncle, and wound up in a coma. That's why he was in the hospital, and when they showed him stuck in Costa Mesa, that was Tony's unconscious mind.

Anyway, if you have Comcast, you can check out the OnDemand feature, and see last season or two.
