Honestly, yes, but there sure are a lot of fucking annoying people on Subspace. More on the whole (in terms of %) than WoW, if you'd believe it. That's mostly only true because you can play WoW while constraining your social connections to only your guild, which you can't really do as effectively in Subspace. This is why I tried coming back to SS and largely failed, although I'll still pop in occasionally. In WoW I can be above the crowd of complete retardedness; in SS, I feel more like I'm irrevocably submerged in it.
