Coincidentally enough, while I was on a battery powered keyboard, I was on this man's chat.
The coincidence isn't obvious to anyone who has never been on it, so due to that I can't spoil it.

The mouse I mentioned earlier in this post, The Logitech MX700 has a holder for the mouse when not in use and will recharge the battery. These batteries will last about a year btw. A titanium rechargable is a good long lasting rechargable. The MS Intellimouse Explorer does not have a charger.

They both look similar and have the same fit when holding them. If I had to get a new mouse, I would probably get the Logitech over the MS only for the recharge capability. On the down side, if you do not put the mouse in the holder when it is not in use for extended time, you will lose charge. Charging when I am afk oir sleeping always keeps it running though....have not had down time until the rechargables finally died.

[EDIT] Not sure they make this anymore, but vendors are still selling them. The new ones have an different power supply....I prefer a battery.

Duracell is so much better than the rest, the bunnies are not joking. i was using a barcode scanner with supermarket batteries and i could scan 5 codes untill the battery was dead. i did that twice and than i switched to Duracell after calling the support. they last a month now already.

I've got a Logitech wireless kb and mouse. Got them at the end of March, I use them a lot, but have yet to change the batteries (duracell). They're nice cause I can use my computer in bed (like right now). Mine has a massive range too, I an type on my computer from my housemate's bed.
