if you're in a place with limited snow, skateboarding skills transfer well into snowboarding.
just in case you feel like practicing up so you dont go for a big snowboard trip and break something first run.

I used to box, until I got concussed by a guy that was a lot better than me.

I was like 35-2, then this dude knocked me the fuck out, and from the on I quit.

But it's definately something I'd love to get back into. Or maybe some sort of Martial Arts/ Kickboxing courses.

        The adrenaline rush is intense.

I don't think I could ever do it, because of having to wear gloves.
I mean, normal gloves are perfectly ok, but those huge ass padded boxing gloves? Fuck em, what is the point, you'd might as well put on sock'em boppers and walk around the town nailing people with them on, it'd be about the same deal.

Have you ever been in a boxing match? It hurts enough.

I will never understand the world of the 150 lbder. I was 150 lbs + when I graduated from grade 8, I was six feet tall on graduation day. Currently i'm incredibly noticeable at 6 feet 6 inches and about 240 lbs. I will never understand you guys who struggle to put on any sort of mass because of fast metabolisms and the like. I work out a fair bit, and thats reflected in my size, but if I work out more and eat better, I get stronger and bigger, and if i eat a little shittier and work out less, i get a little weaker. I have friends who can change everything or nothing, but just can't put on muscle or fat or anything, I don't get it

Go out as much as possible. Not in a 'its your mission to get wasted sense', its just that whenever I'm sitting around of an evening and I'm not socialising then it might as well be that no one knows I exist, and you're wasting your life (at least it thats the feeling I get). Regarding the weights thing, I did it for a couple of months last summer and bulked up fairly quickly, stopped mid-september to go back to uni and slowly deflated by christmas. It doesn't affect anything except your perception of yourself

Edit: For God's sake don't grow a moustache
