  • Thinking of buying a flat screen TV

Does anyone have any recommendations? I am trying to keep the quality high but price as low as possible. (I know that is a contradiction) I do not really have any preference as to manufacturer or even if its LCD or Plasma. Just seeing if anyone had opinions or even some online resources I could check out for buying guides, reviews, ect. Looking to keep it below 2,000 US dollars.

    Thanks

I personally like the Toshiba Plasma screens. My father just got a 50" Toshiba Plasma for under $2000 at Sears w/a year free of interest for payment. Nice TV when watching HDTV, but personally, it is just as good as any other TV for regular programing.

Will depend on if you go for the LCD or Plasma too.

I think the best reason for getting one is the size of these units and weight. The 50" was only 42 lbs. I believe. Try that with a tube screened TV and lifting it by yourself.

Check out the Plasma Guide and see what models and reviews are on them +/-
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.
