Just a blurb from CNN:
Interesting that the Congress brings up the Constitution. I thought they forgot about that when the NSA was wiretapping and Bush did not seek a court order for the wiretap. leaking of classified information to the press and then wasting the tax payers monies for something he himself, GWB himself was the source?
I dunno, but I think it is interesting that Congress finally discovered that there is a Constitution, but it would seem that the Constitution is only enforced when it deals with Congress itself?
F'n hypocrites the lot of um!!!! I also didn't think the Constitution held up in todays world being post 9/11...at least that is always the excuse the White House uses when they violate it!
Congressional Republicans are demanding the FBI surrender documents and other items seized on Capitol Hill in what lawmakers said was an unconstitutional raid. The search of Rep. William Jefferson's office is bringing Democrats and Republicans together in rare election-year accord, with both parties protesting what they say is a violation of the Constitution's separation of powers.
I dunno, but I think it is interesting that Congress finally discovered that there is a Constitution, but it would seem that the Constitution is only enforced when it deals with Congress itself?
