Wild n' Out can be funny at times. I watch some of their specials on hip hop as well.Nasir Jones Quote of the Week:
"I'm the young city bandit, hold myself down singlehanded
For murder raps, I kick my thoughts alone, get remanded
Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne
I'm deep by sound alone, caved inside in a thousand miles from home"
Tell me what the last two lines mean in a Pm and you win.

I'm going to throw in a "music is meant to be listened to not watched" line into this thread.
Though I have to admit, when I had Much it was nice because not only did you actually get music instead drama, but it was also stuff you did not get exposure to on the other channel. I'll take Tea Party and hell even Love Inc. over anything pop/emo/metal/what ever is the "totally rad yo" shit. Granted Much probably doesn't play any of them anymore, but in any case I'm sure they're still playing better stuff than Mtv is, though, it really isn't as if that is such a hard thing to accomplish. Still, I suppose it is nicer to at least have a place on television that actually has real music, let alone any at all.sage

I know they had a European branch that was self-contained. I think they hadan American spin-off called Muchmusic USA or but I don't know how different it was. One reason they would have a seperate American version is that it wouldn't be limited by Canadian content laws, requiring a certain percentage of music to be Canadian. The two groups you mentioned, Love Inc. and the Tea Party, are both Canadian groups, making me think you guys got the same version. There's also the chance that there was a seperate MMUSA but you were picking up the satellite feed of the original.
EDIT: I just did a bit of research on MMUSA's change to Fuse and it seems they have a different corporate ownership. I don't know how long ago the relationship between the two Much franchises got severed.Last edited by Troll King; 05-27-2006, 10:16 PM.
