so my neighbourhood's arts festival was last weekend. i looked through the program and picked a couple things i wanted to catch. was so darn disappointed.
one thing i thought looked cool was called "technical percussion" for some reason i think i was expecting some guy with a trap set doing like 5 different rythms at a time. turns out it was some guy with a couple of midi style drum machines. he put on a couple of loops that he made and drummed along with it, strange sounds. and here's the kicker: his human drumming was more repetetive than the loops he was playing to.
anyway, the cool stuff that i saw, i only saw by chance because they were on my way to school and stuff: a big group of graffiti artists doing a wall, and a couple of blacksmiths smithing.
