Why Today Ruled.

I have finished university, I'm currently temping in London next to the Houses of Parliament and applying for various permanent jobs, whilst being messed about by someone who maybe wants to move in with me

Yesterday ruled as I won two tickets to see James Dean Bradfield on Tuesday

Today did rule.

my boss bought a paper shredder, and the entire office spent like, an hour, trying to break it. we tossed in paper, lots of paper, pens, CD's, old library cards, cardboard, floppy disks, user manuals, a fork

it jammed after someone threw some sheet metal stolen from the renovation project on floor 12 in.

keep in mind, i'm the only one at the law firm who is under 22.

they also let me start working on the database, and as i was browsing through client numbers/clients, i saw this:

399042 Wal-Mart
420188 Tower Estate
310005 NOT AN ACTUAL CLIENT

So i created:

666143 NOT THE CIA

and in the database table, created a matter:

666143 NOT THE CIA
-0001 NOT THE PLOT TO BLOW UP THE WTC

that held my amusement for a few minutes...hope it doesn't get me fired.

i also edited some of the other files...mainly in the wal-mart matters, because most of them are closed and probably won't be re-opened. i added "additional info" fields and added things like:

"IF U READ THIS, PASS IT ON TO 50 LAWYERS OR U WILL BE STUCK DEFENDING GAY RAPIST KLAN MEMBERS FOR 69 YRZ"

"fuck this job"

or even comments on the files themself

"Joe McFrivolous seriously didn't have to plug in the iron and burn his face, why the fuck is this person allowed to live? Idiots like these probably skim over lawyer contracts, so you should put, in the small text, 'oh, and lawyer can kill you, whenever', and then give him a fucking massage with a sledgehammer"

"Considering all you had to do to prove the paper mill didn't fire her due to discriminating based on handicap was to present her drug test showing positive for meth, heroin, weed, and PCP...I don't know why the fuck I'm stuck here filing this shit away. If you keep it up, I'm going to get fired for the exact same reason."
