Usually, with all movies that come from graphic novels/comix/whatever, I get overwhelmed with annoyance, and grumble to myself that rarely does an original idea come out of Hollywood.
But when I saw Spid 2, I was like---"Hmm...that was pretty damn good, yo." And I thought Sin City was fucking awesome, so I've come to the conclusion that I'm probably too cynical for my own good.
Please tell me you arn't one of those people who only goes to indy films and complains about all the "conformists" in society :P
Granted, 95% of what Hollywood produces is complete crap. But the Spiderman films have been a breath of fresh air in the action genre. Good special effects, decent plots, fairly indepth characters (especially for comic book films) and solid acting. It's rare to see summer blockbusters deliver on all fronts.
