        you are going to end up seeing an actor that was suppose to be dead from the first movie, in at point ruining your perspective for the next movie.

          Best part of PoTC 2 was, without a doubt, going to see a movie that premiered on the same date and watching the anguish on other peoples faces as they got to the front of the line and saw that every single show time was sold out.

                because, pirates 2 was ALL about setting up for pirates 3, at leats for the last 1/3rd for sure, thats why it impacts my view. If Pirates 3 Tanks, then the entire last 3rd of this movie sucks because it's leading into a shitty movie.
                The only TWO TIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.

                  That's perfectly fine if you choose to view the movie in that regard. I prefer to view each movie on it's own merits. From my point of view, if Return of the King was a letdown it would have taken nothing away from The Two Towers and the same applies to this trilogy.

                    I think his point was that Pirates 2 is pretty much a 2.5 hour long trailer for the third movie. The Two Towers is a good standalone film because it ends somewhere.

                    Comparable to Pirates 2, in my mind, is The Empire Strikes Back - though you could argue that even that has a real ending it's just a somber one.
