New E-Mail Scam

Well, at least it was new to me. I just got an e-mail from "secure@paypal.com". Then it said I used my paypal account to buy a new Nokia Cellphone for $499.99. Here's the problem... 1.) I don't have a paypal account, 2.) I haven't put any money in it, if I did, and 3.) I definately wouldn't have a paypal account from Russia with broken links all over the place.

So, it'll say "if you wish to dispute this transaction and recieve a full refund click here" which sends you to a blank signup page looking for your social, credit card number, name address, the works. It amused me cause they actually had me going when I saw the link for a couple seconds.... then I went "wtf, I don't have a paypal acct?!" I then went to login to the real paypal and they said "This is an invalid username or password" so ... lol, good times.

The point is: Don't let Bill Chang get your info, thx.

The sad part is, people actually fell for that. I love how idiots can stay away from the spam/fraudulant e-mails from "legit" addresses (like the one Dameon got), yet they buy into a story about some Nigerian prince trying to escape into exile.
