Yeah, I agree that the supposed twist endings were predictable. I actually didn't find the story that hard to comprehend but all in all, the movie wasn't that good. It wasn't scary at all, which I expected an M. Night movie to be. It was a bit scary to see that dog thing crash through the window, but that was it. Those stupid dog things didn't do shit. You couldn't even see them fuck up the girl. I thought the story was okay, but again, predictable. It was a bit ironic to see that critic gloat about how he can spot predictable things in movies. It was more comedic than I expected. Come on, a guy who only works out one side of his body? That's GOLD! An annoying Chinese lady? HILARIOUS! Potheads?! <_<

he said there is no twists, and it was originally a childrens story for his kids. so I don't think it was made to be scary, hollywood just blew it out of proportion, because it was m. night.
