every year's end, news sites put up their "top 10 news stories!!!" and it always confuses the shit out of me. like, i don't get what the fuck metric they're judging news stories by, and how that could possibly have any relevance to anything.

9/10 top news stories at the end of the year involve some pretty young blonde 'all american' girl who goes to some party/party island/vacation party destination who gets raped/kidnapped/killed/goes missing usually with non-white people as the prime suspects.

the one where some guy found some rocket propelled grenades...

he took them to his work shop and proceeded to try to open one wiht a sledgehammer.
