Help me dress up like a Roman Centurion

Me and my friends are going on holiday to Greece in about 2 weeks, one thing we're going to do is go out dressed as Roman centurions one night.

A couple of my mates have ordered costumes from online, but I am planning on making mine. Only problem is, I have no idea how/what to use at the moment, so this thread is for you to help me build my centurion outfit!
