After the incident at work involving parrots, I won't go near them.

Those aren't very colorful though.

They are all pretty colorful actually, I just took those pictures last night, I woke them up from sleeping for it, so they were pretty pissed needless to say, the cockatoo has the yellow top-feather that you can't say, the bronze wing pionus's back tail has red, yellow, and green on it, not to mention bronze wings (go figure), and the african gray has red on his tail as well. But if you are still thinking "not enough color" screw you newbs, the parrots do elite tricks so gg.

It is because I just woke him up! Im sure you would look pretty shitty if I woke you up at 3am and took a flash picture. The pionus is the most awesomest bird ever anyways. 1. It never bites 2. It never bites 3. It never bites 4. it likes to be pet 5. it has an elite chirp that isn't loud. None of them are loud and none of them stink, I mean the are better taken care of than the ones sitting and rotting looking all depressed in pet stores.

only thing i remember about parrots is how devins snapped a brazil nut (or whatever that was) with its beak and how i thought 'damn i dont want my finger there'

Teach the African Grey to talk, they're incredibly intelligent for a feather brain. A friend of my mom's has one and they have a snake. The parrot once said, "snake thirsty" and lo and behold...the snake's water bowl was empty.
