Yeah if there was no way for him to not be in trouble, then you had no choice, and that's what I would have done as well. You left that out though. If the choice is overreacting to someone drinking and getting them in trouble, or just taking care of them yourself in order to avoid getting them in trouble, I feel the better friend is the one who sacrifices his night in order to avoid all negative consequences towards his buddy.

Eric: I wasn't calling you a square because you don't drink, I was calling you a square because of the numerous other things that make you a square that the entire TW population knows about, as well as your PERSPECTIVE on drinking. You seem like a nice guy so normally I wouldn't throw out insults, but c'mon, you basically said that everyone that drinks to excess deserves to die before the age of 25, and, let's face it, only a square would wish that on the drinking population. Calling you a square is mild given that you said that you hope I die.

You clearly don't know about drinking, because if you did, you'd realize that a 36-hour hangover is absolutely unheard of, and that when people go out to drink they don't PLAN to puke their guts out, it just happens. I'm not saying that you haven't drank, you clearly have. I'm not saying you can't socialize successfully without drinking, but if you did socialize successfully, while drinking or not, in all likelihood you would have been around enough situations to understand a few basic concepts about people our age that drink.

Yeah, if you wish death on a whole bunch of people, I'm going to let it take away from your mediocre points, sorry. Your experience comes from news stories and drinking a couple times. My experience comes from a whole bunch of similar situations, that ended in the person thanking me/my friends for not taking them to the hospital or to their parents, or whatever. That's all there is to it. If DTF wanted news stories he could have found them.
