What's the longest you've stayed awake?

I'm on around 32 hours now.

my longest is 48, i have no interest in going further. although i must say, i didnt even feel that tired after doing it. the only thing is, once you lay down it's over. you gotta stay moving and you'll be fine. i had a day last semester where i woke up at 8 AM and worked continuously until 4 PM the next day. i had 2 projects due in the same day. it really fucking sucked. caffeine was essential. when 2 AM rolled around, all i could think was 'this sucks, i hate this, why am i doing this, fuck this.' i chugged a mt. dew, and suddenly i felt up to the challenge; ideas started coming to my head and i got back on track.

By day 4 I had developed dark circles under my eyes, which had become so bloodshot that barely any traces of white were visible. On day 6, I began twitching and even vomited a few times. Afterwards it took me nearly a month to fully recover and get my sleep schedule back on track.

Looking back I can't believe I devoted a full week to a game where the characters had no mouths, and big blocks for hands.

Yes, I spent 160+ consecutive hours on Final Fantasy 7. I'm ashamed, pass me a blindfold and a cigarette.

I stayed up for close to 48 hours once and I swear it was like I was hallucinating and shit, I actually went to bed because it was scaring me.
