I wasn't aware of that, in Texas I have helped 3-4 of my friends write college application letters, that they sent through the mail, perhaps if you can you should, that would -=really=- get their attentions about you.

They'll just chuck it in the bin without looking at it. Same as if you don't fill in the application form 100% correctly (and it's quite large).

Not if you provoke them with "Why throw away if -2ez-" on the letter and "My application is respect application for all colleges"..

But anyways, thats a shame that you can't do anything a tad original to help get into college in some places. But I guess that is the fairest way to do it.

I have always enjoyed computing, both inside and outside studies. I studied GNVQ ICT, which helped me improve my ICT skills. I try to use computers whenever I can to aid my work. I often use the internet for research and word process whenever I can.

Throughout the two years that I studied these subjects, I have become increasingly interested in the English language. All three of my subjects are heavily dependant on structure and grammar, as they are subjects that require a lot of essays. At university I hope to be able to increase my ability and understanding of the English language by studying English Language.

sounds like ur saying u dont really do it that much at all... u either do it or u dont.

Your first sentence is a bit awkward. Actually a lot of your grammar is a bit strange.

i.e. "At university I hope to be able to increase my ability and understanding of the English language by studying English Language." just sounds weird. Something like:

My goal at university is to be able to expand my ability and understand of English by majoring in English Language.

Sounds a bit better.

Overall the content is okay, but the wording is strange throughout your statement. Considering you are applying to English, you should get someone who's really good at English to edit your statement to make sure it flows well.

this is my statement from last year, with a few tweaks to it. my tutor did actually go through it several times, and this was the finished one. he must be a bit rubbish.

as i'm not as college anymore i can't really get any help from teachers. that's why i posted it here

First year I applied to uni nearly everyone one of them rejected me, second year nearly every one of them accepted me without an interview.
