What should I teach myself?
Due to money etc, I've decided on sticking (or at least trying) to one night out a week for a while. This is giving me a couple of nights a week where I am the only one at home for several hours. Apart from the awesome wanking time this provides, I'd like to make some sort of use of this time. Of course I could use this time to do actual work, but I can do that any time!
My first thoughts are that I want to learn something material (e.g. not how to code or learn some language) and something that not many people know and that _might_ be useful. I also want something that doesn't require any particularly specialist equipment, and something I can learn without anyone knowing. Also, it's best if guides etc can be found relatively easily on the internet.
An idea which I first thought or was lock picking, although there's a few downsides like it's pretty hard (that could be the challenge!) to make a home-made one, and apart from a padlock and front door there isn't much to practice (subtly) on.
So yea, any suggestions? It should preferably be slightly challenging, enough to make it satisfying, but not enough to make it overly frustrating. Also, it'd be even more perfect but not essential if noticeable progress could be made in a few hours so I could see how I am getting on each time...
