long story short i didn't make the wish. however, this christmas i'm going down to california (25th to january 6th) first berkeley for a little while and la for about a week or so late december early january. now i missed out on this make a wish nonsense but i'm not sure i'd really be able to enjoy myself with the guilt of dead children on my shoulders, however, now that i'll be back in l.a. for a couple days with shit all to do i figure i'd resurrect the dream and try to hit up the price is right. unfortunately with school starting and the fact i'm going with my brother and sister (who are both teachers and can't miss too many days). the first day of school is january 5th, that's the first day the price is right starts shooting after christmas break. they film on january 6th too but unfortunately i don't think we'd be able to make that because we will be on our way back home.

has anyone ever been on the price is right before? if so, how do you suggest getting on the show? like, do i order tickets over the phone or over the internet? i know there are two taping sessions, one at like 12 and the other at 4 or something (pretty sure this is right, i think i looked this up on cbs a couple weeks ago). any help would be appreciated.

if i was terminally ill and I was allowed to make a wish, then obviously my wish would be to be given like a pound of cocaine in which I would snort untill I ODed, essentially going out feeling good I guess.

dude. thats really not a nice way to die. do you have any idea what ODing on coke is like? I've gone pretty far with things not near as strong, and you get shake and jitters, nerves go haywire. You want that kind of OD, sure do some coke, but mix it with a large amount of downers, that way it won't hurt, and you wouldn't be freaking out and packed with energy as you're dying.

EDIT - and in addition man, alot of people drink with cocaine for a reason, it takes the edge off. However, you seem to have an unlimited drinking tolerance, last time I did it, I was drinking for a day straight and a barely felt drunk all day. Most likely because I was wired.. hehe i wouldnt of gone on, but being someone whos had anxiety/panic attacks.. well thats what an OD on coke would be like. Super mad amounts of energy you cant do anything with, you'll freak out, and oh man it wouldn't be pleasent :fear:

Anyway my main reason for editing, actually had something to do with the topic! My buddy had cancer or whatever (he beat it) but he got 3 guitars of his own choice from Make A Wish. He got a vintage telecaster, a big red Casino style guitar, and a beautiful 5k PRS. I think I got the names right, either way, almost 10k in guitars. I would definatly consider asking for something like that.

I think you'd feel a whole lot better about your self if you didn't take the wish. Sucks to here you have Crohn's, I know a couple people with that and it is hell on them and their families. Glad to hear you're doing better.


Havent' seen an episode in a while, but they always tell you how to get tickets at the end of the show. The last time i watched it regularly i think it gave you an address to write to, but nowaday's it's probably on the internet.
