The thing is, I've never liked the PlayStation 1/2/3 controller. I loved the XBOX S-Controller, and I love the 360 controller. I loved the GC controller, I love the Wii controller.

Sony isn't innovative enough to change their fucking controller in the third-generation, why the fuck should I expect anything else to be different in the near future?

The best controller, ever, was the Xbox v.1 Giigantor controller. Big enough to fit my hands and it didn't feel like I could break it.

1.) No, Ken Kutagari did say, explicitly, that online was not a major focus at all. And if you'd use the PS3 to surf the web over a computer with a mouse/keyboard, you're a damn fool.
2.) Konami of Japan is forcing Kojima's hand in a port of Metal Gear Solid 4 onto the Xbox 360. Will MGS4 launch on the same day as the PS3 version for the Xbox 360? 99.9% certain, no. But, will they port it a few months later? 99.9% certain, yes. It's a matter of limited exclusitivity.
3.) Everyone thinks the Core Processor is something that "OMG 8 Processors = best graphics ever". No. It's, "OMG 8 Processors = I can run more routines than ever before". I can do more with AI, with Loading times, with streaming input, etc*. Video is just one processor, still, outta 8.
4.) The shit still costs $600, and it doesn't come with an attachment that will suck my dick or do my homework for me.

Hmmm...is it possible that Ken made that statement a long time ago? From what I've read and seen for Sony's Playstation Network, you can have voice chats, and even video conferencing with other people on the PS3 with a bluetooth headset and with the EyeToy and/or webcam, including while playing a game. You can use a mouse and keyboard with the PS3 via bluetooth or USB. Just like XBOX Live, Sony will release demos, trailers, updates, and minigames in the Playstation Store for download.

I understand that not everybody has 599 US Dollars to spend on a console, but there were still 500,000 people who were willing to when it launched, and more waiting. Hell, some people are spending $3000 on eBay, but those are the desperate ones lol. Some people will buy it for Blu-ray since its half the price of an actual Blu-Ray player, and of course the rest will get it because its Playstation. If you think about it, this launch is looking similar to the PS2 launch: It was expensive, the launch titles were weak, had negative hype, etc. I'm not saying it will be as successful as the PS2, we'll just have to wait.

LOL @ Price Drops. The PSP alone has cost them billions in lost revenue, so I doubt they can afford to bring a Premium for less than $600 for the next few years.

Plus, even when the price drops, you still will be paying more for it than you would for XBOX360 at that time or even both a Wii and an XBOX360.

It's just NOT worth it, in any sense. The only reason I would evereverever get a PS3 is for MGS4, and I heard that's being ported to 360. So now the only reason I would get a PS3 is to sell on eBay to buy a Wii and a 360 and a shit load of games.

Fuck Sony, fuck 200,000 units nationwide, fuck this shit. I want a company that loves their users. Maybe that's why I love Nintendo, but that STILL doesn't explain why I would buy a 360 over a PS3.

Same here, I'm a Nintendo fan, not a fanboy. I love there games and consoles they make. Which is why i say fuck the other systems, get the wii along with zelda (10/10 on 1up.com)
