I disagree, I like having a 'straight' head, because I find it easier to control.

I was going to post a picture of a keygen made by Razor911 but it was too much effort to get one.. and it's 5AM here.

I use an electric shaver. I only shave about once a week (I'm asian) with it and it's pretty good in my opinion.

I disagree, I like having a 'straight' head, because I find it easier to control.

The straight head doesn't form around your 'curves', chin and stuff. The one I posted has 3 movable blades (those round things are the blades) so they adjust to your chin and jawline etc. Also, if you make the rotating movement with it, it shaves pretty damn close.

I go for philishave too, I am too lazy to shave so I normally wait until my face gets too hairy and then I just trim it first (with the trimmer on the philishave)

I don't see how you'd have more control with a straight blade.

makes me wonder how some people manage to cut their faces with a blade razor, that never happens to me. i mean its quite simple actually, pull at it in a 90 degree angle to the blades, no magic involved

i sometimes cut myself shaving (this is very rare tho), usually if im in a real hurry to go somewhere but have to shave beforehand, and im doing it carelessly.

what i dont get tho are the ppl who say they cant get a close shave with a razor... are you doing it right?

I disagree. Run your finger, horizontal, down your chin. It follows it.

With the round ones, I have to move all around because they always miss patches of skin. I preferred my straight-head 'lectric when I used them, but now it doesn't matter, cause I use blade razors anyways

Honestly, I don't think the movable blades adjust enough to really 'countour'... unless you have a huuuuge chin. In terms of what little math I know, the curvature formed by the head forms a small parabola, and the chin is a bigger one.

When I used an electric shaver a while back, it was one like I showed in the pictures, and I found if I made the circling motion I would get everything, and close enough for me anyway.

I have my dads facial grow, so I am know I am gonna end up with a rough beard anyway, later on I can not get a close shave with a blade or nothing. If my dad had something in the evening for work, he always had to shave again.

Does anyone besides Rab actually have one that works? Preferably someone in the US that actuallly has to shave everyday? I'd buy one in a second. This question has bugged me for a long time.

I use an electric shaver every day and I get a pretty close shave.. not what I would get with a razor, but I don't really mind not getting that close, because it takes like 40 seconds to shave in the morning. I really like these a lot better than razors.

ive used an electric shavers ever since i started shaving. works for me smooth skin in about 20 seconds. I've used phillips and normal electic shavers i get on with philips ones better (one with 3 moveable heads). the thing people forget with electric shavers is you have to clean them out (every week) and replace the blades occasionally (once a year) otherwise they start to suck

razors are for people who have time in the mornings to arse about, i'd rather sleep in :P
