1) Scissorfight - "New Hampshire redneck metal" according to the band themselves; I'd call them stoner metal
2) Neurosis - experimental, covers a wide array of genres from doom metal to dark ambient
3) Down - Doom/stoner metal
4) Eisbrecher - NDH, basically Rammstein with less cheese
5) Lacuna Coil - Started as a gothic rock band, still retain bits and pieces of that but have much more of an alt-metal style now
6) Exodus - thrash metal
7) Clutch - Stoner rock with hints of funk
8) Bury Your Dead - moshcore; basically you beat the shit out of people while listening to this
9) Raunchy - melodic death metal with hints of thrash and industrial metal
10) Fireball Ministry - stoner rock
