It just amazes me at how quickly this thing travels. The video is about 3:30 minutes long and by the time it's over, the vehicle has reached 45 miles in altitude (around 72 km).

DirecTV has the NASA channel...pretty cool to watch when a suttle has been launched and is orbiting. Pretty boring otherwise once the shuttle has landed...but when it's orbiting...it's pretty intense to watch the Earth below.

They also have the camera's attached to the bosster rockets and you can watch the rockets disinguage from the shuttle...and they keep the cameras going until the fall into the ocean.

Holy shit! Something just occurred to me. That picture looks a little like something from the future! What if it is? I don't think it's a picture of a shuttle launching at all. Look closely. Looks a little like a spaceship just barely in the atmosphere firing some kind of weapon downwards toward earth!! JESUS NO!!!!
