Former Phish frontman charged after traffic stop

Former Phish frontman Trey Anastasio faces charges after a traffic stop early Friday morning in Washington County.
Police said Anastasio, who lives in nearby Vermont, was pulled over in Whitehall at about 3:30 a.m. for failure to keep right.
Police said he had a suspended driver's license in New York and was allegedly found with an assortment of prescription medications prescribed for someone else including hydrocodone, Percocet and Xanax.
Anastasio was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of drugs. He was issued court appearance tickets and released.
