Although if you look really deep into my posts, there are some things that make sense...
One point I made that makes sense:
The highest staff should have played this game at a competitive level, even the forum staff. The first time I heard about someone called DangerGirl was when she was allready highest ranked in forum staff... weird, huh? You want someone you know to be ruling this zone aswell as the forum, someone that is appreciated by a vaste mjority of tw.

2nd point:
Do not have 1 person that has absolute power over the other staffers, better make a group of like 4 or 5 that have the power to make the hard decisions together and do not get biased about stuff that includes one of them personally... Also if you have a group of 4 or 5, one of them can be kicked off if he is abusing his power.

3rd point:
Imho you should just give people like Wark aka Kthx the power to host... It should be possible to give people like him only powers in the subarena's that require hosting. He was really good at it and hosted a lot. It's not like giving him the power to host gives him powers he can abuse really hard and he can use in his mission to be a fuckin cunt towards others.

4th point:
DG and Rudy did really fuck up, seeing the way they handled this situations. It's like out of all the decisions they could make and all the things they could do, they made the decision and did the things that would turn out worst.

5th point:
Rules should be a lot stricter towards situations like this. It would take me about 5 hours to set up really strict and clear rules, then some other person 1 hour to take out the spelling mistakes... So I am guessing that one of you forum-runners should be able to do it in 20 hours... Doing this would maybe take some time in the beginning, but it would make your job a lot easier long-term. This way you don't have to deal with situations currently occuring, having a lot of the members complaining about what you just did. If new and better rules are made, you can just say: banned on grounds of rule 5.21a or sumthing like that. Also it would be smart to actually add something saying staff can always bend the rules a little to handle situations that occur cause people want to push limits. If you would just be able to ban those guys that always try to push them limits, maybe they would understand it is not really appreciated.. and after like their 3rd week ban or so in a month they would probably notice it isn't tolerated or accepted to do these kind of things, and they would most likely stop or atleast do it a lot less.

I think Kolar touched on this, but yeah- I've run a few forums in my life, and this vB upgrade was definitely major.

I have no idea what the forum upgrade did. The forum was fine. Then, it got upgraded, and we couldn't use avatars. Now the avatars are back.

The upgrade had more to do with back end things like tracking forum members, banning stuff. I had a lot more to say to what Pjot posted, I thought he was being serious with some of that stuff.

No Ikrit, there's a difference between wanting to be a forum admin., moderate the forums and make big important decisions AND offering to help work with those people so this forum will become a better place, with no forum powers.

Ok, I actually sound like a stupid Cunt in my previous post... but if I look into it there are clearly some things I kinda wanted to say... I'll try to summarize them as points....:
- The upper staff should be familiar with playing this game and should be atleast pretty good in one of the ships TW is offering.
- THIS FUCKIN INCLUDES TW-FORUM STAFF
- Sometimes you should look past certain peoples personalities, because they are so friggin good at what they do... In other words: Some people should be allowed to fuck around a lil every now and then, because they are so good at what they do... it makes em special...
- You should never have one person that could overrule every decision (about a certain aspect of whatever) because that will create biased judgement.
- Maybe you staffers should all take EQ and IQ tests, so the average TW population could actually see with what kind of stupid cunts they have to deal with dayly...
- In the ass is no cheating...
- It is not the graphics that makes this game so much fun, it's the gameplay... So please stop fuckin workin on lvls and graphics for subarena's... hardly anyone fuckin cares about them... it's a waste of time that could have been spend on something usefull... stupid fuckin cunts.

I don't see why the admins are bound to some sort of code. DG paid for the forum upgrade, she should make the fuckin rules.

I'm offering my help. I will be forum staff. I won't do anything that's against the rules (are there rules?), since I am not so involved in my e-friendships and e-rivalries that I would decide to just ignore the rules to impress someone or spite someone. I like the forum, it passes the time and I've enjoyed observing a varied community of people grow up from teenagers into adults/"adults". Most of the time the forum is a complete waste of time, but a few times I've learned some actual stuff. Point is, I don't want it to go to shit over a goddamn upgrade, and from past experience with the TW community, having only admins that nobody likes is a recipe for disaster.
