  • Still waiting for the WW3

So USA is going back to Somalia with Ethiopians by their side, Iraq in a civilwar,
Afganistan aswell, Israel threatening Iran with nukes and Iran building it's own
nukes. Pakistan and India, both with nuclear weapons, change gun fires from
time to time. North-Korea trying to develop it's nuclear weapons systems while
pissing off China, Japan and USA and many other countries around East-Asia.
Japan is obviously preparing for a war by rising it's military budget and inner
ministry changes. Same with Russia, military's budget is rising constantly. Who
will take the next turn, USA used it's first turn attacking Iraq, Afganistan nobody
    cared about.

USA has never had this bad image around the world, it has it's troops scattered
around the globe, democrats and republicans concentrating on power trips,
    unstable times are coming.

Or maybe WW3 has already started according to future history writers.

The sky is not falling, the Doomsday Clock is sitting 7 minutes til 12.

The best was 17 minutes to midnight, in 1991, when the U.S. and Russia were unilaterally disengaging tactical nuclear weapons. The worse was two minutes to midnight in 1953 when the U.S. and the Soviets were screwing with each other. Things were also bad during the Cuban missile crisis.

Defining instability is, of course, more than just the monolithic threat of two superpowers incinerating civilization as they struggle for power. Bioterrorism needs to be considered. Anyone can take a big bag of chicken, place it in the sun for a few days, and then go infect a city's water supply.

No, the threat is not from superpower countries, we are in an era where terrorism requires that we assess the source of dangers in new and nontraditional ways. WW3 is not coming.

Linking to Infowars is almost as bad as linking to The Enquirer.

With all the world problems noted, there was nothing said in regards to Russia cutting off the oil from Europe? With the reasons noted that the Russians feel that their oil is being stolen from Belarus, I would think this will become a hot area as well in regards to diplomatic actions.

Lets not forget the problems in the Balkins...what about South America?

The entire world is in turmoil.
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

People focus too much on the negatives of this planet, which is relatively easy seeing as the media does better with negativity.

Too much of the world is united for a full scale world war to start. Sure countries have beef, but not enough to go through with war. Russia, China, USA, etc, may not be best friends, but they all rely on eachother economically and have been through alot as countries.

Also, the deal with nuclear war. Every country with nuclear weapons know that if they launch a nuke, another will be returned, and will end them. Countries are not dumb enough for that.

As for allies, the USA is tight enough with Austrailia, Japan, All of Europe, Canada, even East Asia so that they would not fight eachother, at least not yet.

If Russia and USA could settle the cold war, which was way, way fucking worse then any of this Middle Eastern shit, then we are fine. Russia and USA both had nuclear missle launchers pointing on major cities in the others countries, thats the reality of how close and scary the cold war was, but they got through it and are now allies.

The real enemies of the world are not strong enough to start a world war, they would be wiped out too fast.

I have also noticed from playing game that European players are much more into the thought of a potential WWIII/Nuclear war then North Americans, and a fair majority of them really dislike the US.

            Typed this fast, probably errors.

You guys should have expereinced the early 60's when everyone was building fallout shelters in their back yards. Back then, we were taught as school kids to 'duck and cover' if we saw a huge bright flash of light!!!

During the first gulf war the US military had about 500,000 troops deployed for the operation. They have about 120,000 deployed right now in Iraq. The troops are not "scattered around the globe".

Power trips? Details? Please? The houses have recently changed hands due to the midterm election results. This sounds like something you just tossed in to make the United States looks worse off.

Why is it people who insist on giving their Enlightened-European outlook to everyone seem so poorly informed about things?

In a world that has governments and populations with morals in regards to life around them, then I feel that a threat of such will not happen. When you have people bent on becoming a martyr and having nothing to lose but only to gain (gain in the minds of these certain individuals) then a nuke possibility can happen, be it a dirty bomb or as of recent...polonium-210. Polonium-210only needs to be the size of a match-head to do it's work.

There are people bent on creating world chaos and destruction, because in their minds they feel that they are correct in their action and are being directed by god to do such acts. How do you fight such a target? How do you fight it when it starts to globalize and create world chaos?

Negative news...yes. Due to everyone being tuned in at the same time via the internet (news, email, forums, irc, cell phones....), it's a hell of a lot faster for everyone to be in touch and informed on world matters than it was in 1967, 1987, 1997...to today. When we didn't know of things in the matter of seconds after being posted or announced, we only got local and biased national news info. Now we get everyones news and on top of that, camera phones video taping the Saddam execution.

Perhaps technology is just moving too fast for masses of this world to fully understand and utilize it in a more positive manner.

The World is a F'd up place...enjoy it, but also beware of those that would rather see you dead for not thinking as they do.

What I find amusing is that you used it again as a link expecting people to read it/ take it as a credible source.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Would it be better if I found the same clip from CNN in Youtube? It's just a video clip I'm now sure how the website it comes from could make it more or less credible. You can't read a video clip btw, can you at least look at it before you counter it?
