It's an MMORPG that I've been playing since 1999, and they just recently started giving out a free trial (downloadable).

This is one of the most unique games I've ever played. I've played this game more than WoW and SS combined. You can check out some videos on youtube for the gameplay and teasers. There's a couple cinematics as well.
This game is updated every month with new content, like an entire new expansion, EVERY SINGLE MONTH. The Dev teams work very hard every day for this game, and they actually implement good ideas that players submit on their forums. I actually used to be an Advocate on this game (It's like a Dev, but it's more of a customer service thing in-game). I guess you can call it a Moderator, lol.
The maximum level is 275, there's PvP (no factions, just everyone for themselves) and PvE. Although, being PvP is optional on all servers except Darktide. (to go PvP (Red/PK) must swear allegiance to Bael'Zharon, the shadow 'god' so that you are no longer under the protection of Asheron)
The Lore (Story) is probably one of the best fantasy storylines in any game that I've ever played. With each monthly update there are updates to the storyline, live events and quests.
The possibilities with this game are endless, and it's endless fun. You are not restricted to high-level armor. So you can wear the armor of a level 275 as a level 1, but you might not be able to activate the magic on each item, because to activate those spells you must have certain skills raised. One of the most unique things in the game that I haven't seen in other games, is that you can actually DODGE spells, arrows, and thrown weapons.
The server I play on is Darktide, and my name is "Grael of Magic" in the allegiance "The IRA".
You can buy apartments, cottages, villas, and for the larger monarchies, Mansions. This game is probably one of the best games out there that is not recognized at all. Hope to see you guys soon. ^-^
