It started innocently enough with me eating french fries, listening to jeopardy, and managing a few AIM conversations. I decided to throw up an away message and hit the bathroom, but as an additional cover I opened Continuum and entered Trench wars. By the time i came back, a good deal of chat had passed and what appeared immediately on chat scroller was this:
Fresh XP> I think ur pathetic if u cant come up with something else as an insult... just tossing "no UR the newb" back is brain-dead.
So being the self righteous bitch that I am, I gave this loser a piece of my mind.
roxtar> saying newb in the first place makes u the brain dead one
Then, I looked up at the past couple lines to see what had passed between these two arguers and what i see right away is this:
Fresh XP> boom newb
SirDoofalo> fresh, you're the newb
While I was reading that, the two arguers continued, oblivious to my ominous presence.
SirDoofalo> You called me a n00b for killing you with a X
SirDoofalo> i bet you haven't been a X
Fresh XP> no I called u newb for running around top in X
Fresh XP> but NOT for killin terr
So naturally i assumed that someone (SirDoofalot) got killed, and judging by the "boom" comment, Fresh is using a levi or jav. Since newb, by definition, is the pronoun of choice used by levs and they are the ship most likely to ride on a terr at top, I guessed that FreshXP had been levterring and angered too many people. So with the intention of chewing him out, I asked the folowing question:
roxtar> what were you doing up there?
But it was immediately followed by:
SirDoofalo> O.o you call me a n00b when i killed you in a jav
And the answer I got to my question looks like he read my question, responded and then read SirDoofalot's comment and tried to insult him weakly.
Fresh XP> yea I was just happy in my jav and u came around to lame
So i just gave up on those to, since they never acknowledged me and let the arguement progress.
SirDoofalo> and you call me a n00b when i killed you in a wb
SirDoofalo> so stfu and gtfo
But then Blurred intervened with this comment:
BlurredRea> will you all shut up with the "newb" comments
Which was received with much appreciation from the people in that pub.

But then despite his grand opening, Blurred's true colors were revealed.
BlurredRea> you've got to have something better to do with your lives
Why is he doing what he just told people not to do? That is what I thought too, so i said:
roxtar> quit while you're ahead dude
And he DID!!!
The two arguers from before however, did not.
SirDoofalo> :/ hit
Fresh XP> loza
Fresh XP> that was far from it
SirDoofalo> O.o
SirDoofalo> whatever just stop talking

Since I was no longer paying attention to them, I had made my way into base, unescorted in a wb. FreshXP was now on the roof in a terr, so when I was near the right roof hole, he bursted and it hit me! Now my ping has remained pretty constant ever since the server move at 100 ms, so I am fairly confident that if anyone was at fault, it was FreshXP. However, he thought otherwise.

And then, like some sort of instinct or reflex, I typed:
roxtar> mm.. tasty
and began to fly to the other side of the flagroom to avoid further attacks from him. However on the way, I was killed by an X and before I respawned, I exited the game to write this and watch Joe Millionaire, the final episode.
