Funny thing about college

College was tons of fun, and although I didn't live on campus, I still had a great time. I went to college to learn (same reason i went to high school) but noticed something, there are girls in high school and college, and I like girls, and girls like me and it's a wonderful life. so even if you took my parties and booze away, i'd still be the skirt chaser i am.
With that being said, post college sucks, I work in a tottaly male dominated industry (construction) which sucks, so now I do more partying then I did in college, just to continue my skirt chasing.
Fuck it, I need a new career. The only TWO TIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.

Originally posted by Facetious View PostPersonally, I hate going to school with older people, for the most part. The people my parents' age that are in my classes are nice folks, but they are really slow and also not ashamed to ask questions, which is really annoying. In one class I just sat next to one of them and answered all her questions myself while half listening to the teacher so the class didn't end up half an hour longer for no reason.
While neither of them had prior education in information technology or experience I found their work and determination on almost everything to be much higher then that of other people my age. At the beginning of the program we had a lot of people who would slack off, people who didn't want to be in IT and such. I remember a lot of us would go running around on campus looking for empty rooms to setup a starcraft/warcraft LAN, skip class and goto the bar and generally waste time. Following that kind of crap nearly got me kicked out but most of them didn't change or find a balance to it so by the second semester it wasn't a problem.Last edited by Kolar; 02-27-2007, 11:16 AM.
