Yea I understand what you mean. Orlando Bloom, I really didn't like in Troy. He was alright, Just I think wasn't the actor I would pick for that position. 300, Is better by far in that perspective too. I thought that I was going to overestimate 300, I got a ticket a couple days ago. But I really underestimated it. Anyways, now I can't wait for it to come out onto DVD.

Watch 300!!

I laughed.

My assumption is that 300 is drama and acting-wise somewhat like Troy, which means not so good, but I still want to see it for the crazy action. Been drooling over the trailer for months now.

I just got back from watching 300, right now. It is a fucking amazing movie at the least. It was just an all out great movie, It had some funny parts in it too. Most movies get torn apart by the trailers, but this movie tore apart its trailers. If you can get out and see this as soon as possible, worth it by far..
By the way blood, I really liked troy. But this movie doesn't really compare to it.

lol a couple kids made custom spartan helmets and capes and during the previews ran through the movie theater fast. Thought I would throw that out there, all there effort should get noticed a little even if it was pretty dumb. It was still somewhat amusing.

Bubbles: My cousin is a manager at Tinsletown here, but i wouldnt be able to get into the midnight showing of 300, because it's sold out, and he cant swing that. But i havent payed for a movie in probably 3 years!!

okay, so we just smoked bowl one, and I'm feeling it a tad.

Yes, I do smoke too much, and I probably should cut back, but I figure now is the time to smoke as much as I can because I'm taking lowly 100 level courses and passing them with ease. When I begin to get into the more focused areas of my major, something's going to have to give and I have a feeling it will be pot.

And to Jerome: I normally hate smoking before movies, but with the 300 I was willing to make an exception, because the film is going to have little in the plot department (so I've read from reviews) and a lot to do with the visual department. Obviously, if I was going to watch a movie like Babel, smoking would not be for the best, but since I'm going to see a movie that is for the most part pure action in front of a blue screen, I have no problems watching it blazed of my ass.

I'll give a review tonight, if I feel like it, or tommorow when I get around to it.

While we are on the movie topic, Has any of you seen breach?
I'm into CIA/FBI themed movies and was wondering if that was any good, I wanted to see it but all my friends wanted to see other movies such as 23 and 300. Please don't post and spoilers here btw; and I hope by saying that doesn't make any of you do it lol.. I'm serious please don't.

It's pretty interesting, but it's very slow and there's nothing action-wise, just a few mind games
