Today, I'm 2 days away from being with the same girl for 1,5 years, and I really do love her, and I dont want to see it end.

But there's a feeling that's starting to grow on me, I'm not ready to stick with the same girl, nomatter how perfect she is for me. I'm in my prime, and I want to be able to fuck about, and not have any attachements. (Yes, shallow, I know, but what can I do?)

For each potential hot chick that is interested in me, this gets increasingly worse. I know several other guys with this, and they cheat.
I'm not going to cheat on her, that's for sure.

So it's either to break off, or just suck it up and spend my youth with just one.

I'm pretty sure everyone with a long time relationship gets this once in a while, and I'm wondering what do you guys do to cope with it?

Anyways, in History 145 the other day, we were talking about Progressivism and how women were finally shedding the Victorian Code (long-sleeved clothing, etc) and my teacher was like, "So when a guy has sex with 20 women, other dudes like, bown down to him, right? From a girl's perspective, I would hate sensing the feeling that my boyfriend wishes he could be with other women and he never tells me. Everyone likes to think they are a good actor, but one too many wistful gazes at another lady doesnt go unnoticed :P

Anyways my point is be careful. Dont let negative feelings build up about the relationship. Seriously consider how much you are gonna miss not having anymore sex with other women. It's one thing to have a lot of sex, but another to lose someone who is perfect in every way and loves you back for the same reason. That lasts a lifetime

Crv pretty much hit the nail on the head. I feel that way sometimes but those urges are probably natural. No reason to mess it up if, for the most part, you're happy. Things will happen the way they will and if some time in the future you both feel you've reached the end of your relationship then that should be a mutual decision, and not just because you wanted some new tail.

If I could have my way we'd take a break and just fuck about, but I can't stand the thought of her being with anyone else (wow, that's hypocrit).

This would pretty much tell me that if there is no way you are getting back with her if you would break up, that you shouldn't break up.

You want to be careful. If you stay and this feeling grows, eventually you may start to resent her/the relationship because you want to be free but instead you are trapped. After a while that could make things ugly.

If this is a strong feeling I say break it off, tell her youre not ready to settle down, and you want to date some more while youre still young. Then hope that once youre tired of that she takes you back (or you find someone better and then you win). Or, if you dont find someone better, crawl back on your knees proclaiming that you made a terrible mistake and no one is a better match for you then her.

Noah I would stay with this girl. Try and spice thing up a bit my doing things you don't usually do. Be more creative in a your current relationship. Anyone can have sex, but when you have a women you can make love to, it's a different story. Relationships are not all about getting your dick wet. Going from girl to girl will not solve the problem. Why have you stayed with her this long?

There must be something about her that you enjoy. Find a way to spark the relationship back up. Try taking her out for makeover like a new hair style,get her nails done, or spa treatment(make her feel sexy). If you have invested as much time in the releationship as you have,why throw it away? Don't take any advise from kthx the only girl he has probally slept with is Izor's sister or cousin (If that).
