Story so far
The buzz is going around that Shia will play the son of Indiana Jones and will thereafter bring about a new era of Indiana Jones movies with him being the future star.
I think it's a great choice, I liked shia's comic role in Even stevens back in disney, and he never really sold out to stupid shit (though holes annoyed me somewhat, but it was like his first movie that got him success), this guy is just 20, but he's developed himself as a good actor that's on the brink of being great (he also showed he can do more than just be a comic relief with his disney movie Tru Confessions where he plays a mentally disabled teenager - which was truly good acting). I thought he did pretty good in The greatest game ever played, as well. He will also play in the movies Disturbia (let's see how good he will be in a thriller) and Transformers (I will be extremely shitfaced for this, so I expect an A performance).
Hope he doesn't become another Tom Cruise/Mel Gibson
