Can we then justify the use of four buses?
I can see what you mean, but I can't for the life of me understand why of all places to promote the cause anyone would choose a University campus. Here you will find relatively intellectual people, informed on current issues and aware of, at the very least, global warming. Of all the people I spoke with on the topic, hardly any even knew there was a concert and that it was to raise global warming awareness. Of the majority of the people there to see Sheryl Crow, few gave a shit about global warming at all.

Our silly rally had no vicious intent, it was purely for fun.

And, of all the retarded ways I've spent afternoons, having a faux protest, riling people up and spending time listening to what other people have to say on many current events was very fun and very interesting. I probably won't frequent the free-speech alley like that any time soon, I'd prefer staying home, smoking pot and playing video games or staring at a computer screen all day.

I'm not an ignorant person, and I'm not a bad person, I swear!

And I pay for school by being a commodity to my employer and by being an obedient daughter. Same difference, really. But thanks for editing that question out anyway :/

I completely agree. Facetious said something to me awhile ago that really stuck with me "Cops, I realized about four years ago that I was never going to do or make any dramatic changes in the world". I thought about what he said and started thinking to myself, I truly and honestly believe that I will never stop Global Warming, Cure Aids, or solve any other problems of our time. I know for a fact that Sheryl Crow or even Bono wont solve these problems, and its foolish to think they will. I think that if people dedicate themselves to these issues on a large scale then you may see some differences, but for now the numbers aren't there and maybe a bit of public awareness wouldn't hurt.

This thread is seriously just fucking horrible. It started out bad with this:

My own personal view is that global warming is not an issue. I hear too much yak on both sides of the issue and seeing as I'm not a conservation biologist, it's not my place to blindly believe the government with their questionable evidence and it's not my place to say that global warming isn't happening whatsoever.
then got a little better with the picture because Jerome's girlfriend is pretty hot, then went back down into what I like to call the "mega-shitter" with this gem:

sarah silverman ftw, best comedian ever
(Editor's note: What the fuck is wrong with you)

and then just got worse from there. I just realised that the amount of bullshit in this thread is actually outside the scope of even being able to handle.

I love these forums because you can start a thread hoping everyone will get the joke or play along and get entirely serious answers and when you start a serious thread nothing but retarded sarcastic rarely funny replies.

Yes, it was a good joke and I completely see the irony in Cheryl's tour

Some people use any chance possible to voice their (uninformed) opinion, they feel that if their idealogy is criticized in any way it is a personal attack.
