I'm a fag with 57.17%. The Beatles got me mostly (whom I haven't listened to in more than 2 years) and then of course Radiohead (no longer listen to much) and Red Hot Chili Peppers (whom I was surprised I listen to so much considering I don't really like them).

How in the hell are Thievery Corporation and Yes more mainstream than George Harrison? Do not understand.

Definition of 100% Mainstream

Until now - to be 100% mainstream - a band had to have as much listeners as the 10 bands with the most listeners have in average. Sometimes this created strange results as some bands would always have more listeners (Radiohead, Peppers,..).

I didn't want to do it with the old "Radiohead-Scheme" which said that 100% equals the number of listeners of the most popular band (for a long time this was Radiohead - now it's Coldplay) because then i could also take just the top band of each user to calculate his mainstreamness.

So now I changed it to be "average listeners of top5 bands in last.fm". This way there aren't anymore users with more than 100% mainstreamity.

Any other suggestions?
