We all know we have to blame the internet. I am just the only one with balls to to that. So, just accept kids being assholes because that's the price of Inet.

Another thing that really grinds my gears about my generation is we're ungrateful as fuck. We've had more advantages given to us than any other generation ever, and yet it's not enough...We want more.
I mean Christ, I was lined up for food in the cafeteria today about four people back, and I witnessed all of them have food served to them, yet none said please or thank you.
Is this a dead tradition? My parents always taught me to thank people for their services, and to ask generously when you want something.
I mean for fucks sake, is it that hard to say please and thank-you?Originally posted by ToneWomen who smoke cigarettes are sexy, not repulsive. It depends on the number smoked. less is better

This thread could be better suited in relating to Sociological studies and how every decade children and parents are viewed and analyzed based upon the how technology, education, laws and homelife impact the upbringing of children through the past decades.
Comparing generations is always interesting when you consider the factors of why changes happen.May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

So I wonder what kind of reactions you expect when you start up a thread with a difficult question. Do you expect people to take it as an assignment and do some scientific research so they can come back to you with an answer that actually holds some ground? Or do you just want to share some opinions with people who've just past puberty and are now aswell annoyed by their younger nephew who is way too spoiled and doesn't say thank you when he gets his Happy Meal?
I could be mistaken but this forum community never stroke me as scholars on the subject of how changes in society (emancipation / parenting / modernization etc) influence changes in identitydevelopment, which can lead to generationalconflicts.
Ah well. Continue as you were.

can't talk now though, gotta go rate out Useless CrapMy father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

I half-agree with Zerzera, teenagers are teenagers, no matter what the time period. I believe the difference is that the RATE at which kids are being spoiled has been steadily increasing for the past 30 years or so, as technology makes us lazier and lazier.
What do you want in your lives: convenience or the threat of an increasing number of teenage shitheads? 9.5 out of 10 would choose convenience, whether they want to admit it or not. 10 out of 10 would agree that Pearl Jam is a bad, bad motherfucker.
On another note: Remember when only roughly 25% of the population had cell phones? Yeah, that was about 1995. I was in middle school. And now we tell ourselves that we'd be hard-pressed to survive without one, when really we'd be just fine. I just want to get on some kind of list that guarantees me a toilet-recliner combo when they're mass-produced.PLEASE, DON'T BE MISGUIDED...YA BITIN'. AND I'MA HAVE TA DIS YA, UNDERSTAND MISTA?
