  • So you think you are a fan..

those of you who watches anime will prob know this anime series:

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (aka The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)

It was a really well done series, adding a few new twists into traditional anime. But what grabbed most anime fans' attention was its ending them song, which includes a dance. The ending eventually became a full 1 minute version due to popular demand. Here's the dance:

The dance became an instant classic, and became a hot act to pull off during many anime cons. However, the following was done in a much larger scale and purely done volunteerly. I find it really amazing for fans of anything to come together and do things like this NOT during a convention.

    coincidence?

WHAT?! My friend kept bugging me for the past week to watch this series, and I finally finished it a few hours ago. I come here, and there's a thread about it.. oh my.

Honestly he was extremely fanatical about this show and I was not. I'm just not into those school life animes.
    thread killer

Also who changed to pw to Squadless, how am I supposed to fly the banner of sucking at the game

those were just 2channers who organized a humiliating dance off

and suzumiya haruhi didnt really add a new twist to anime, its just based off the novels

Has anyone else ever noticed how famous black people always want to inspire future generations of black children, why can't they just want to inspire all children. Stop perpetuating the racism already, god.

          Old news Neth... old news.

Also old news, but just as cool was that pic of the Palestinian girl who was protesting holding a sign that had Haruhi on it.

                      you kno u wub me
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.
