Lost: Spoilers (Last Episode to be discussed: the Brig)

1. The notion of Purgatory.
This was debunked numerous times by the writing staff of Lost, yet here it is, on our TV, in our face. Could the survivors of 815 not really be survivors at all? Could they be in a sense of Limbo? And if that is the case, then why wasn't Baby Aaron sent to Heaven after him being baptized?

2. Water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.
Well, not water, but how about something useful ... like a satellite phone? Jack and Juliette know something that Kate doesn't. I do think Kate knows that the communications have been knocked out, so I don't think that's what they were hiding from her. Perhaps it will be revealed next week. Well, the carrier should be 80 miles away, but no signal? Yeah, it's weird.

3. Dead really doesn't mean "dead" anymore, apparently.
Well, well, well .... our friend McPatchy shows up and gives us some medical expertise. Apparently his time as a field medic for the Soviet Army proved useful in not only healing Nadia, but in healing himself. In his words, "I've already died once this week."

4. Back to the Purgatory idea....
The plane, to you and I, crashed on this island. Apparently, to the rest of the world, it was found on the bottom of the ocean. The survivors, to you and I, are strugging to survive on this island. Apparently, to the rest of the world, they're all dead ... on the bottom of the ocean. Could Nadia be bullshitting for some reason we have no clue why? Could they be in an alternate, parallel reality? If this were true, how could Ben talk to his man in America following Juliette's sister? How could he get television of events happening while they were on the island? How could people be born into death/purgatory (Sun, Claire, Ben, and Alex)?

5. Is it bigger than a breadbox?
That whole "I have a room .... inside is whatever you can think of and it will appear when you open the door" idea is .... well ... as weird as everything else on this island, so it's almost normal. I'm more inclined to believe that a Dharma agent kidnapped Cooper (Papa Locke) after ramming his car while he was driving, but I dunno.

I stopped after Locke's father "appeared from nowhere". I think the writers are just as lost as the characters.

Yea, I was briefly talking to Dameon about the whole "are they all dead" theory. I don't think they're dead, but maybe it's a tribute to all their fans who've come up with that theory.

I'd more likely believe that they just kidnapped Loche's dad because Ben knows him so well that he already realizes how fucked up his dad has been on Loche's psyche. So putting him in that box wouldn't be so much of a stretch of the imagination.

Now, in any episodes, have you seen the wrecked plane anywhere? No. Maybe Hanzo put it out in the ocean for some reason. There's gotta be more to it than "ya'll are dead, gg".

Carlton Cuse (Executive Producer) and Damon Lindelof (Co-Creator/Writer) have already said that they are not dead....And they are not in purgatory. They've been denouncing that theory since season 1

And I have no idea about the island anymore. I've learned to stop speculating, and instead enjoy the ride. Also, I'm really glad they've been answering a few of the "pressing" questions. This week's Ben flashback should shed a shiton of light on what's been going on....I'm super psyched.

I do however not think they are Dead, that would be way to easy for this series.

However, I am not like Dameon so I don't have a lot of theories and what not.

Locke's Dad thinks he's dead and in hell and given his circumstances, I'd probably think the same thing. To the others it's not so much hell (especally for Locke or Ben) nor did any of them experience a near-death thing in the way of say, Cooper (Locke's Dad). Now, one would go "Well, the airplane was our near-death event.". Which would be all well and good, except for one key figure you all probably forgot about. During the crash everyone was knocked out from the drop in cabin pressure, the trauma from it, etc*. Well, Ana told Jack, "I saw it all....". She had no point where she was gonna die or anything like that, nor a "knockout" period.

For the sake of argument I'm going to say there are two planes. Lost Plane and Other Plane. Lost plane being the one we all know on the island, other plane being the one Nadia was talking about. If the other plane and the Lost plane are one in the same, then perhaps it was lifted from the island (0.9% likelihood) or it was a copy placed there by Hanzo (much higher probability). The bodies could be similar bodies to the dead with similar, faked ID. Remember, it's in the bottom of an ocean trench and a robot went down there. After decay and everything sets in, the surveyors probably went "Yeah, they're all dead, no one could have survived this." Thus, presuming everyone was dead. Question: Why does Hanzo/Dharma/Others/Hostiles want the Losties stuck on the island with no help? Because of the obvious experiments going on. They don't want to be found out. the Losties are just a victim of circumstance. They are alive and there is a real world out there. Someone, far bigger, is just trying to cover it up.

I'm not that skeptical that there aren't ways to fake people being dead with other bodies (I think I phrased this grammatically wrong..). Also, the obvious consideration is that Naomi is lying. But that'd be too easy for the writers, eh?
