Pirates 3 (no spoilers)

is Spiderman 3...on boats.

it's a lot of plot, a lot too much of plot, just being pushed down on you. It's lacking in both action (up until the end) and humour (it's not really funny, and you can tell when it's trying to be funny and fails, which i guess is in itself funny). Kiera made it watchable for me, but i think shes hot, so if you don't, then theres not much here to see.

I guess it's worth renting, just to see all 3, but don't hold your breath, it's 2 hours and 47 minutes, and theres a part after the credits (which are another 15ish minutes) and it's NOT worth the wait, let me tell ya.

Disappointing all around, 5/10 because of Kiera, 2 or 3 without her.

Yeah i watched the movie last night and i think it really lacked in a lot of aspects... especially the interaction between the main figures interpreted by Orlando B. and Keyra K. it really lacked on that part... the other really sad part was

"ok so we released Calipso what now??"
she yells at us and goes away... <_< while making a wirlwind between both forces... why not doing over the entire fleet from the eastern india company?? A lot of details missing that part... Along with the tentacle guy that can't leave his ship appearing on the ship from the other pirate guy to speak to calipso!? Any1 noticed??

was hardly worth the three bucks i spent. notice how they left the ending open for yet another sequel. god willing, they'll call it quits after this one.

and for the record, davy jones can leave his ship, he just can't go on shore (except for one day every ten years.)

which is why you saw him standing in a tub of water when he was on shore for that one point in time.



Not a spoiler, but i knew this would suck from the begining, when a kid was singing, and it basically zoomed in on his braces, and is aid out loud 'ohhh, they had braces back in the day, eh?'

First one was good because it was campy. This one is nothing but loud special effects.

I think the movie had alot of plots going on at once. This made the first 3/4 boring. However the ending wasnt that bad. I at least felt interested in the last bits of the movie. This movie was more about making money then making a good movie. Very depressing!

but we have a few local theaters that cater to the college crowd with excessive discounts

I thought it was better than the second one but then again it took me 4 tries to get through the second one without falling asleep. And the last movie I saw was spiderman3 so thats probably why this movie didnt seem so bad to me.
