They didn't move the cube, they built the hoover dam around it. The cube was never at the arctic, that was just where Megatron crashed.

sounds like its disappointing, which sucks cuz transformers the show, original movie, and beast wars all kicked ass back in the day. i'll probably still fork out the cash just to see how megatron can go from a robot bigger than a man to a gun? is he just hollow?

He's not a gun in the movie, just an alien jet.


I liked the movie, a lot cheesier than I expected but I didn't really mind that.

The only thing I don't get is what happened to the new transformers created by the Allspark? That bloke's Xbox360, street vending machine etc.

ALSO, I hate how they put things after the credits. It was only cause I was reading wikipedia did I find out that after the credits you see Starscream fly into space.

Just came home from watching it; it was entertaining.

The comments regarding "this is much better than armageddon!!!" & "E.T.? No, nothing like that" were pretty funny considering michael bay directed the movie and the executive producer is steven spielberg :P

If you're asking why he was selected to be in the film over other classic villains, the answer is fairly simple. In the last season of the original North American series, when the focus shifted towards the Headmaster series, he was the leader of the Decepticon Headmasters. After the show ended, it continued in Japan and he was again the major villain. He was an interesting character and all subsequent series have had him in a prominent role, though now serving under the various incarnations of Megatron.
