    maybe my expectations were too high, but it seemed like a run-of-the-mill simpsons episode that just happened to last an hour and 20 minutes...in a movie theatre.

    i can't think of a single scene that prompted big laughs- like scumbag said "more of a continous giggle". seriously though, if you're going to make a movie based on a syndicated cartoon (especially 15 years later), shouldn't it break some kind of original ground at some point? this movie didn't do that aside from flashing us bart's penis while he was skateboarding naked.

        Pretty much repeating what everybody else said. It was average, not overly good, but at the same time not terrible. There were some funny parts, but there were also jokes that fell flat.

        I got the Batman trailer at my screening too

          i thought that was pretty funny and so did the rest of the theater. i thought it was better than your average simpsons episode these days but it wasn't outrageously fucking rad or whatever. worth watching though.

              It was fine, maybe it felt bit too long dunno. But worth watching for sure.
              So what was that uber romantic song played in Homers and Marges weddinng? :fear: It's some familiar song but I cant remember what, and it's bugging me!

                haha movie was funny, best part was homer jumped into the sinkhole flipping em off then they scratch and rake his head haha
