A 9/11 first responder has gone on the record to describe how he heard a demolition-style countdown precede the collapse of WTC 7, eyewitness testimony that dovetails with other EMT's and rescue personnel who were also told that Building 7 was going to be "brought down".
Earlier this year, we reported on the testimony of an anonymous EMT named Mike who told Loose Change producer Dylan Avery that hundreds of emergency rescue personnel were told over bullhorns that Building 7, a 47 story skyscraper adjacent the twin towers that was not hit by a plane yet imploded symmetrically later in the afternoon on 9/11, was about to be "pulled" and that a 20 second radio countdown preceded its collapse.

The mistaken belief that a handful of unexplained anomalies can undermine a well-established theory lies at the heart of all conspiratorial thinking. All the "evidence" for a 9/11 conspiracy falls under the rubric of this fallacy. Such notions are easily refuted by noting that scientific theories are not built on single facts alone but on a convergence of evidence assembled from multiple lines of inquiry.
Why would the American government plan such a thing? Something which not only killed thousands of their own people but cost billions at the heart of their financial sector.
You stated that steel could not be melted by kerosene - indeed you're right. Steel has a melting point of around 2700 degrees F. and kerosene burns at a temperature of around 1500 degrees F. However at 1200 degrees F., steel loses 50% of it's strength. A culmination of the jet fuel and the burning of other combustable items would have easily created an inferno of 1200 degrees F. And then you're not even considering the impact of a boeing 747 flying into the side of the towers at over 500 mph.
