whether that's true or not it does not follow that God hates gays which is a common misunderstanding. if gays in fact cannot do anything about their feelings and are forced by their body to have homosexual tendencies then they are unfortunate but it does not excuse them for committing sin. Everyone, no matter what their "sexual orientation" is, has to combat their flesh's desires with what they know is right. Well that's not fair for homosexuals to not get to married like everyone else, right? Wrong. Paul was never married; John the Baptist was never married; Jesus was never married. They all had to battle sexual desires too.

As far as I am concerned being gay is just something you are, not something you chose, not a disease, not something anyone made you to be. Just something you are. And everyone is different, and I start by respecting everyone, whether they do things that makes me lose my respect for them is up to them. But it will never be because of someone being gay or not.

I dont recall a time when I was a growing up, checked out the girls and boys, and thought "hmm I think I want to be attracted to boys." It's an innate feeling/attraction, not an intellectual choice.

My mistake...I misread the question.

However I'm curious to know what you think that average response would be? Because as I said above, most of the gays I know had strict and often intolerant religious zealots for parents. In my personal experience, that tactic doesn't work well for parenting or suppressing the natural feelings of their children. Why then do people continue to try alienation and force to try and sway homosexuals, when it's pretty clear that disavowing them has no real effect?

Can you back that statement up, or are you just talking out of your ass? Because every homosexual I've ever met has had straight parents (most of them with strong religious home lives), yet all of the people I know with gay parents have turned out to be lady killers.

But I'm sure you know more than all of us out there, what with your hypotheticals about "100 homos."
