Stayon> That type of thing, when you're married for 50 years but you know you fucked up when you dropped chilli sause on your elitist rich boss, while crossing the cafeteria's lunch zone, getting you fired, because you were distracted admiring the cleaning lady's ass that you beated off to, when your sluggish wife and two retarted kids were asleep.

Ah come on! Take that back!
Image google on "burberry trenchcoat". How can you tell me it's ugly? It's a plain simple grey trenchcoat. I think it looks safisticated on a woman. But that's my opinion :P

Snobbish? It's a burberry... hooligans wear it. Maybe the fashion police should help me here i guess. She tried it on and it just looks good on her! Me, personally, I'm the brandless type of person. (or brands which don't show their label, such as most hugo boss's). But most men are like that i guess.

What Da1 mean is that the classic Burberry pattern is ugly. See link.

I think it's pretty sweet tho. But I wont jump into what I like and not like because then da1 will go bananas as usual..

I must say that I'm rather impressed that you bought such a present, they are pretty expensive. I'm also impressed that da1 knows what Burberry is!

I'm not sure what I want, I'm going to Canada in February so maybe something cool for the trip, who knows.
Bought opera tickets to mom and dad, an media player for my brother and for my sister.... well she insisted on the O C dvd box set...

            new iron
            vegetable steamer
            personal grill
            reading lamp
            clothes

The older you get the more boring the things you need become...

Besides, interesting gifts are for people that have hobbies and only the extremely poor or teeenagers have time for those.

I'm at the point where I don't ask for anything, I get asked to provide a list though. The novelty of Xmas drastically wears off when you can afford to buy everything yourself. Now it's just about getting time to relax and spend time with friends/family which sounds like a better purpose than consumerism.

note to self: stop visiting this forum late at night :P
i actually do know that the brand is snobbish, but it also depends who is wearing it and how. Personally, i dont think that coat is a walking commercial. That pattern usually is though yeah.

So true. all the thing "i'dd like" are a bit too expensive to ask for christmas. All the other things i just get when i want or need it. So around these days i have no clue whatsoever.

Same here, I just want to enjoy a huge meal with my family, and then later go to a bar with all my friends.

If I were to wish anything, I'd wish something I couldn't afford to buy without saving. New TV + PS3/Xbox 360, and I don't even want my family to spend that much money on me.

I haven't asked for anything (birthday, we don't do Christmas and no Sinterklaas anymore) in years.. I don't have everything but there is also nothing I really want (unless its way out of the price range).

i also dont know what to ask for. sure i want things...things like xbox 360 + halo3 + live account + 2nd controller. but that's really expensive and kinda just one "thing" to me)= i toldmy grandma to get me a mirror for the shower so i can shave my face easier =P they have nice ones that stay fog free or defog with a quick swipe of the hand. i had got my dad one for a gift a few years ago and he nailed it into his bathroom shower wall. it's nice and shaving in the shower is way easier than shaving with cream for me. I'm the type who gets a 5 o'clock shadow at around 1

i also asked for seat covers for my car. my leather is dry now after 5 years and some seat covers could be, comfy, stylin, and save me from having holes in my seats.

i was actually looking around the net for things to buy my sis or ask for myself..decided to browse some tw.org and figured any idea is good to present..maybe something will click for you.

also, i am thinking about asking for an I-O-U type deal. say a band is coming to US next summer but you dont know when or where. just say you want to go to the ******* show next year, it could work

i dont have a girlfriend this christmas, maybe ill be able to get something for myself this year~
                                I agree.
