The concept was awesome, some of scenes were amazing. The movie had a great start then just seemed to lose it near the end. The ending was shite and kind of pissed me off. I'm not mad I saw it, but I'm also glad I didn't pay for it.

Just finished the book. Yeah, way different. I'm glad I didn't buy the copy at the bookstore with a giant picture of Will Smith from the movie on the cover.

The book was written in 1954 (!).

On I am Legend, I thought the movie sucked but I totally didn't get one scene, now that I got it (tnx to Barton, who read the book ) the movie was a bit better... (not much)

I saw in Wikipedia the short plot of the story, sounds intreseting. But I must say Its remind me a bit the movie "28 days later" which was a great movie, mostly because of the psychology between the characters.

I thought the EXACT same thing. Its kind of creepy to think about how easily that could happen and how close we are TO that happening. ie: looking for cancer cure, strand mutates, becomes airborn - boom we're all screwed. The movie def had me goin a little bit when he hears everything happen at night after he closes up and whatnot.. and yeah the ending was .. alright.. but if they made the movie a few hours longer and rated R it would have been SO much better. Overall i liked it alot though it was a pretty solid film and i though will did a great job.. especially with the whole bank scene and his dog and whatever.
I didnt see many previews for the movie so i wasnt expecting it to be as dark as it was.. i suggest taking a girl to see it with you in all honesty.. unless your gay.. then take a guy.. unless your a priest.. then take a boy.. afk

I am awful movie

1) no acting
2) half the movie is spent waiting for something to jump out at will smith. slow and wastes my time
3) awful CG, the zombies all look like gollum and do the troll thing from lotr where they open their mouths wide and yell for no fkin reason. yawn. did the animators go on strike too?
4) long dumbed down monologues where will smith idolizes bob marley without mentioning marijuana once. way to butcher the concept of bob marley, mass pop culture hollywood
5) felt like it was written by a 13 year old; plot consists of a long series of extremely unlikely coincidences (NOTE TO AUDIENCE: GOD EXISTS, HE LOVES YOU, AND HE WILL HELP YOU WHEN THE ZOMBIES COME)
6) reminded me why I don't watch 'movies' anymore

save your money and go watch a real zombie flick.
