I gave people Harry Potter 5, Superbad, massage coupons, and various DVD's of tv shows. And my dog gets a new bed.

Although he posted the rules to me, I don't see where in the rules it explicitly says that I can't post a link to a forum that has links to full length motion pictures at no cost.

Rules:
1. No html. It isn't enabled.
2. No spam, including double posting, whitespace, ASCII, binary, or anything uninterpretable by the average English-speaking user.

I think these rules only show the hypocrisy & bias of the staff members here.

3. No Disgusting/Porn pictures, links, postings. It doesn’t matter how much warning you give, no means no.

How many have done this without any warnings?

4. No Warez/Serials/Cracks/Hax0ring/SS Cheats/etc, including links. This includes discussions of bittorrent/DC or other file sharing programs.
5. When posting pics, keep the screen and file size reasonable, don't break the tables.

Who's guilty of this? ...and got no warning? I guess I was guilty of the 'etc' part. hmm go figure <_<

6. Do not leech bandwidth. If we get complaint emails we’re sending them on to you. Posted images must be linked from an image hosting site or from your own webspace.

7. Keep your fights in the trash talk forum. If you have an issue with in-game staff, please refer to the sticky in TW Staff forum. If you have an issue with Forum Staff, please email the Forum Admins with the Contact Us link below.

Oh i guess this is just trash talking directed to staff.. to hell with anyone else.

8. You get one forum account, that's it. If you lose your password or wish to modify your account name, please use the contact us link found at the bottom of the page.

9. If a topic has been moved, closed, or deleted: don't post it again.
10. If you have a complaint about a forum ban, E-mail forum staff. Do not make complaints about zone bans here, email zone staff.
11. No referring offsite offers/games, free ipods, etc.

I guess 'etc' could refer to whatever bias staff wanted to pin on whoever they wanted to harass.

12. Racism, discrimination, and harassment is forbidden in any form.

Racism... maybe, but the other two is certainly not strictly enforced.

13. No overly large or obnoxious signatures. If your signature is inappropriate, you will be asked to change it. Failure to comply will result in it being removed for you and will count as a rules infringement.

I guess they're talking font size here... yet there's still some big ones. Someone made a comment on one today... I bet he didn't get any warnings from staff though.

14. Do not revive a perceived 'dead thread' without adding a worthwhile contribution to the thread. Both the variables in this rule are down to the individual mod's discretion.

15. No copyrighted content.

I guess this is another one open to the inconsistant discretion of staff.

16. No forum or zone staff impersonation.

I've just opened gifts with my family, I'm off to my boyfriend's house to open gifts later. So far I've gotten $100, $50 to Victoria's Secret, $50 to Chipotle, pajamas, stuff for my dorm room, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, lotion, random math puzzles books (going into a math related field), board games, caffeine gum, and random snack foods. My boyfriend says he spent over a thousand dollars on me, so it will be interesting to see how much stuff I make him return <_<

I agreed on $40 with the girlfriend but we both broke it, I bought her a silver fire fly necklace with a little diamond in one of the wings, she spent about $80 on books for me. I prefer skipping the girlfriend boyfriend chritmas fiasco and just agreeing on going away for a few days or doing something special. Spending a grand on someone is nuts, what did he buy you a car?

I got around 4-500$.

I always suck at making wish lists, so getting money is better, because it saves them the hassle of shopping to me, and this way I'm guaranteed to get pleased.

Other than that I got Fifa 08 for PS2 (I don't have a PS2, so I'm trading that for a wireless guitar for Guitar Hero).

I got a kickass Opeth shirt, and a year subscription to my favorite cartoon magazine (Pondus).

Got some clothes, and other small gifts.

All in all, I'm happy with what I got. Wasn't too hard to be happy this year, since I didn't expect anything due to not have wanted anything spesific.

Who cares about gifts anyway? Christmas is about the food, and sitting around the table with your family.

christ you guys are spoiled. single children or what? i got the entire dvd box set of monty python's flying circus, a much needed flask, a few books, assorted dvds and clothing.

favorite was the docking station to my iPod that lets me play video on a tv, charge the ipod, etc. now i can watch all my office episodes on a screen larger than 15''.
